Timo Mayer comes from a long line of winemakers dating back centuries in the Württemberg region of Germany.
Leaving there to travel the world, he finally settled in the Yarra Valley, and has been producing wines of great character and complexity there ever since. All wines are unfiltered and unfined (vegan friendly), and are made with the aim of showing a true expression of the land. This 100% Yarra Valley Tempranillo has had the whole bunch ferment treatment and is full of personality and energy. It's earthy and savoury, with dark plum and red fruit, light spice, black olive, a herbaceous note and fine tannin. An absolute stunner of a Temp from the amazing Mr Mayer!
