Somos is the unique winemaking project of duo Benjamin Caldwell and Mauricio Ruiz Cantu.
Sourcing from sustainable vineyards and using mostly lesser known varieties, they export some of their wine to South and Central America (using Mauricio's home country of Mexico as a connection) as well as selling fairly small amounts here in Australia. This is such a delicious, easy drinking (but interesting, in a good way) red blend! "An intriguing blend of : 69% Grenache, 12% Uva di Troia, 10% Pinot Meunier, 9% Mencia from multiple regions. It is a collection of small parcels with different winemaking techniques. For the first time in 2021 using Uva di Troia, and obscure southern Italian red variety, light in colour, juicy and fresh.
