Cannonau is pretty common in Sicily, because the stuff can survive arid heat conditions.
This one has taken the form of a beautifully delicate rosé-style wine. Lightly macerated, with a fragrant flower nose. The profile is watermelon & strawberries, but with a delightfully intriguing savoury edge. One for sun and sand.
