2021 Noir Blanc
Dave Geyer grew up around vineyards and wineries in the Barossa Valley, and comes from a family of grape growers.
His professional career started 20 years ago at Torbreck, where he worked for seven years before taking off around the world to gain experience in South Africa, France, the US and New Zealand. Returning home to re-settle in the Barossa, he started work with Spinifex, and in 2015 founded the Geyer Wine Co label. He's also one half of the dynamic winemaking duo of Yetti and the Kokonut (he's the Yetti). Focusing on minimal intervention/natural winemaking techniques and not one to stick to convention, Dave has made an impressive and unconventional white wine from Grenache! The bunches were pressed immediately off skins (before aging for 9 months in old oak) to make a complex and interesting wine that is a delicious, textural and refreshing. A truly unique and creative Barossa Grenache!
