Express Winemakers is the project of Ryan O'Meara, one of a younger generation of Western Australian winemakers pushing the boundaries of style and making expressive wines with unique character.
This is a very small-batch operation, and since 2011, Ryan has been slowly finding more and more beautiful vineyards from which to source his grapes. This Riesling comes from one of the oldest vineyards in the Frankland River region, as well as an even older vineyard in the Mt Barker region. It's textural from a little skin contact, but is still bright and refreshing with lemon, lime, nutty and savoury characters. Beautiful release out of WA from this fantastic small-batch producer!
