Roberto de Miguel started Artuke in Rioja in 1991 after working in bulk wine production, craving a smaller and more personal winemaking life.
Now his children Arturo and Kike, whose names form the basis of Artuke, are leading this intriguing winery which farms only bush vines with no trellises in sight. This Tempranillo and Graciano blend has raspberry and red fruits, plum and black fruits, soft tannins and a bright acidity with a long finish. A lovely food wine with meat or tomato-based dishes!
