Commune of Buttons was born in 2014 as siblings Jasper and Sophie Button were looking for a way to make use of the grapes on their family farm in Basket Range (Adelaide Hills).
Since then, the Buttons have gone from strength to strength, producing wines with a sense of place and character without any additions. This Pinot Noir is from 2 different parcels, fermented separately with 60% whole bunches and around 15% direct pressed (like a rose). Complex, super delicious and lush! "This wine is earthy and dark fruited with forest floor complexity. Its frame is lighter from the addition of rose, but it still maintains good tannin structure." - Commune of Buttons
