Aglianico is one of the big red varieties of this region, and for many people it's one of the finest red grape varieties in all of Italy. This fruit is from majestic 90+ year old vines. Matured in stainless steel for 2 years before bottling, this Aglianico displays deep red and dark fruits, bright acidity and structured tannin. It's absolutely delicious, and due to the lack of oak, it's got a real vibrant freshness! Decanting really brings it all out.
