Adlib Wine is a new winemaking project from James Hopkins, known around Adelaide and further afield for his public and trade wine events and programs championing smaller and up-and-coming producers.
After years of nerding out on wine, Jimmy has been slowly gathering the tools and knowledge to do his own thing - and not only has he done it, but he's done a cracking job. This is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Kuitpo sub-region of the southern Adelaide Hills. It's playful yet serious, Juicy yet structured, with notes of blackberry and dark berries, dark plum and spice rack. An absolutely delicious and surprising expression of Adelaide Hills Cab Sav.
