This wine is textural, with a tight line of acidity and a generous palate.
The hand-picked fruit was whole bunch, direct pressed to a stainless steel tank. Once primary fermentation was complete, the wine was transferred to French Oak barriques to undergo Malolactic fermentation. Over the 8 months the wine spent maturing in barrique, it underwent regular lees stirring and topping. With 30% new French oak influence, this wine has drive and tension, with a generous mouth filling texture, palate weight and complexity.
