2021 Easy Ride

Notes from the winemaker, Pete Wood...
Championing the idea that ‘delicious wine takes time’ this cuvée was held back from the Późno 2021 vintage. In the glass it looks filtered, but it isn’t. Such shiny clarity. Smells kinda Rhône but isn’t. It’s Shiraz from a high ridge in McLaren Vale, along with a cool patch of Merlot from Mt Compass. Shiraz being the party starter, popping with energy, supple Merlot rounding out the mouthfeel with ripe strawberries and generous weight. Easy drinking and a fun ride!
