The Stoppini brothers are making wines just like their Grandfather did on the border of Tuscany and Umbria.
This means they are lighter and prettier than most of the wines we see out of Tuscany, and they also work with more obscure varietals than the traditional Sangiovese... This is a 50/50 blend of Prugnolo and Gamay. It reminds us of a mid level Beaujolais - pretty special.
