Sassi are located right on the border of Lazio and Umbria. About 300m up in the hills... 100% Ciliegiolo - a variety you normally see blended out in the remnants of Chianti. Not in this case. Macerated for one week with on skins, 10 months on fine lees. Aged in fiberglass... Then rests for a while in bottle. Yum.
